Traveling With God ~ The Minstrels Travels

Traveling With God The Minstrels Travels

Madhavendra Puri and His Dancing Troupe

That is my beautiful little God daughter Sandra. She is precious to me and I love her so. By now she would be in her twenties, and I look forward to seeing just how gorgeous she has become. As a child she was amazingly intellectual and spiritually pure. I know in my heart she still is. Hare Krishna.

The Minstrels Travels

by Madhavendra Puri

vocals by Trey Haltom
music by Colonel Pepper

Traveling the world with God can be such fun. You never know where He is going to take you.  This Picture Show by Colonel Pepper tries to give you a glimpse of what it's like moving through space and tine at the speed of thought. That is God's Speed.

You ought to see the other side if you this is this is far out.

Home Sweet Home straight ahead. Do you want to come with me?
You are cordially invited to meet me in Paradise that orbits the little star at about 7:00 o'clock from the bright star. I call my planet Paradise to be different. My brother Jesus Christ calls his planet Heaven. I'm Saint Jude, and mine is nicer. The gardens much more manicured, and the marijuana will blow your mind, really, I mean totally explode in your cranium. The air is clean and the water is clear. You're going to love it.

Genie by Colonel Pepper

This piano solo by Colonel Oliver Wimbleton Pepper IV, BMI will help you understand reincarnation. The Colonel was Ludwig Von Beethoven, and he taught the Beatles how to play. Paul played the string Bass,  John played the cello, George played the Stradivarius Violin, and of coarse Ringo was percussion. It was the greatest quartet ever.  George and John could squeeze out every bit of emotion that I had hoped for in my melodies. John's name was Shulkins, and he wrote my biography. He was one of the few that knew I really wasn't deaf. People just bored me to death, so I let it be known I was stone cold deaf, and people stopped talking to me. Thank God, what a relief, Blah Blah Blah, on and on and on... My God I'm going crazy just thinking about it.

Genie was the first song I ever wrote, back when I was in Junior High. It was about my first girlfriend, Jeannie Nelson,  We were in the First Baptist Church of Canoga Park, along with my best friend, Jay Ferguson. Jay and I played music for the youth group all the time. I was so happy when his band Spirit started having hit records. It made me very proud of him. He used to let me set in with the band at the Coral, in Topanga Canyon during the mid 60's. That was so much fun.

The pictures you will see show the way to my planet Paradise, and let you experience just what it's like to go sailing through the universe. The words that went with this song were Every night in my dreams under those old wooden rails, I dream of my Jeannie in white surfer tails. I still love you Jeannie, and I'll see you in Paradise.

Don't that just make you want to believe?

Angel's Wings

Sometimes I find you're on my mind
Sometimes I find worth saving
It's times like these I'm on my knees
The times I find worth saving

Sometimes I find you're on my mind
Sometimes I find I'm crying
It's times like these I'm on my knees
These times I find so trying

Trey Haltom chanting Hare Krishna
Trey Haltom, ~ Madhavendra Puri doing 16 rounds in the High Sierras.
The song Angel's Wings is about how people discern me with disdain and disgust on sight. I have been run out of quite a few Christian Churches in my day. In fact a Black Baptist Church I actually joined ran me off after three weeks. I didn't even tell them I was a devotee of Sri Krishna, and have been for forty-seven long years. There were long periods of time God would have me doing other tasks, and I was away from all the Temples, but still serving Krishna every minute of every day. That's all I really want to do is love and serve Krishna, and serve whomever He puts in my path, An Angel's work is never done, and I put in three forty-eight hour shifts a week, No mortal could ever keep up with me. I am the Angel Abbadon, or Apollyon to the Greeks, see Rev. 9 in the Bible.

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

repeat 16 rounds of the Japa beads every day for best results.
